More layouts

This layout came from Club Year in Review. The pages are from the Magic Moments scrapbook kit (retiring Dec. 31st). I used a border sticker from the included Stickease to frame the bottom of the title block and the journaling block (facing page). Yes, the journaling still needs to be finished...working on it.

The title was stamped in Cocoa ink using the My Acrylix Whimsy Uppercase stamp set. I added a strip of cocoa grosgrain ribboon to the "seam" of the striped and paisley patterns (both pages). I also added 2 sets of 3 cocoa brads - one on this page and one on the facing page.

Since these papers are pre-printed, there was little effort to create this page. I just plugged in the photos in the open spots! Viola! Faster. Simpler. Easier.

The next layout was created using the leftovers of the My Reflections Level 1 Tinkerin' paper pack. Some of you remember the workshop in July using this kit - here is the link http://dawnscrapsalot.blogspot.com/2009/06/july-workshop.html. Since the workshop mainly focused on the pre-printed pages, I still had plenty of the 2 patterned papers and 2 solid papers to create this layout. Not to mention the coordinated Stickease that came with the kit. I did add the white rub-on letters from Making Memories to create the "Fun Things" title.

The 4 gear stickers were adhered using foam squares to add more dimension. A little tip, coat the backside of any sticker with baby powder to take away the "sticky". This allows you to keep your 3D stickers - 3D. They won't get pressed and stuck to the page with the weight of the album. Another fun thing to do with large stickers is creating pockets. I gave the "pocket" illusion by sticking the ticket sticker over the photo of me and my son. I cropped the photo too small (oops!), so in order to make it work with the 2 others in the line, I "covered" my mistake with a sticker!
